The Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Denmark established the diplomatic relations on January 20, 1992. The Kingdom of Denmark recognized the independence of Moldova on December 31, 1991. Moldovan Ambassador in Denmark, with residence in Berlin is Igor Corman. [1] Ambassador of Denmark in Moldova, with residence in Bucharest is Ole Harald Lisborg. [2]

VisitsEdit

Moldovan minister of foreign affairs visited Denmark in June 1996, and Moldovan foreign minister paid a visit to Denmark in December 1997. [3]

Commercial – economic cooperationEdit

In 2005 the total volume of the trade with Denmark was 24.400 USD. The imports from Denmark to Moldova totaled 7,469mln USD.

Technical AssistanceEdit

The technical assistance offered by Denmark to the Republic of Moldova includes especially projects in the sphere of environment (district of Edinet, Cahul, Tighina)
